I discovered a crack in my plastic radiator last week while I was topping up the liquids. How do I fix a cracked radiator plastic?

You can do a quick temporary fix for a cracked radiator’s plastic with epoxy but a better solution is fusion welding.
To fix cracked radiator plastic, you may need a:
  • Heat gun
  • Nylon-based welding rod
  • Air-free plastic welder
  • Black tie wraps
  • Another type of soldering iron
  • Filler
Before fixing the crack, the damaged area should be clean and dry. Pre-heat the area and then use your welding tools and the ties to fix the track. Check your work after to ensure the leak is fixed.
It sounds like this crack was just a fluke, but if it resulted from an accident, you might have some coverage from your
