How do I fix a bent car door?

There is a little bend in my door frame that is unsightly. Is there a way for me to fix a bent car door without heading to the mechanic?

It can be frustrating when your car isn’t looking its best. The good news is that you should be able to fix the bent door yourself.
To fix a bent car door, try following these steps:
  • Open the damaged door.
  • Hold the door in place with your knee.
  • Grab the bent section of the door and bend it in the correct direction.
  • Repeat this process until the door is back in its original position.
If this seems too difficult or isn’t working, you might need to call a mechanic. Having a professional fix the door will cost between $400 and $750.
While these repairs aren’t covered, there’s plenty of car damage that your car insurance can pay for. Make sure you’ve got the best
