How do I find out who my car insurance is with?
My mom helped me start my car insurance policy since I didn't have my own before. I was in an accident and need to file a claim. Believe it or not, I can not find any paperwork showing who my insurance company is! How can I find out the name of my car insurance company?

car insurance
is with and to make sure you aren’t in this situation again!Since you can’t find any paperwork in your home, check the glove box, center console, and the trunk of your car. If your mom helped you with your policy and printed out an ID card, she may have put it in your car.
- Looking through past bank transactions for a payment
- Search your email for the keyword insurance
- Contact the local DMV and ask if they know the name of the last insurance company for your vehicle
If none of these work, ask your mom. There is a chance she put her address and email instead of yours when setting up the policy.
Once you have located your insurance provider, print out an ID card and put it in the glove box of your car.
