How do I find out when my BMW warranty expires?

I just bought a new BMW a few years ago and I’m not sure if it’s still under warranty. How do I find out when my BMW warranty expires?

BMW’s Basic New Vehicle Limited Warranty will cover your vehicle for four years or 50,000 miles. But if you can’t remember the exact date of purchase, you can easily find out when your warranty expires by first locating your BMW’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
Your VIN—which is unique to every vehicle—contains information about your car’s vehicle type, manufacturer, and it can even reveal where your BMW was manufactured. You can find your VIN plate or sticker in a few places, including on your windshield under the wiper blade on the driver’s side or under the hood. Once you figure out your VIN, take note of how many miles you have on your odometer, and then call your local BMW dealership to find out when your warranty expires.
Taking advantage of your warranty is a great way to save on car repairs. But if you’re looking for other ways to save on car-related expenses, check out
