I think we’ve all gotten the extended warranty phone call! Having an extended warranty is pretty uncommon, but they do exist. Vehicle owners can get an extended warranty if the car is certified pre-owned or the dealer offers one.
If you had an extended warranty, you would be able to find legitimate information about it on the paperwork that you received when purchasing your vehicle. You can also call your dealership and ask about it. But you should never respond to calls claiming that your car’s extended warranty is about to expire.
