, you should be able to file a claim by calling your insurance provider or filing a claim online, if that’s an option.You will need to provide the following information:
- Your car insurance policy number
- Your car’s title
- A basic description of your car
- The names and contact information of anyone who had access to your car
- The location of any and all car keys
- Contact information for your auto lender (if you have one)
In addition to contacting your insurance company, be sure to report your stolen car to the police and the DMV. Make sure that you get a copy of the police report, too.
