How to take care of your Hyundai Venue infotainment system update might vary slightly depending on your model year. As a general rule, though, here are the steps that are typically involved:
- Log into the MyHyundai user portal
- Select “map update”, then select “navigation updater” on the next page
- From there, you can download the infotainment system’s navigation update and transfer it to a USB flash drive or SD card
- After the download process is complete, you should be able to view instructions for how to install the update in your vehicle
You also have the option of ordering a USB or SD card with the installed update to be shipped to you. The 2021 Hyundai Venue requires a 64 GB USB flash drive to install the navigation update, while the 2020 Venue requires an SD card.
