How do I determine diminished car value in Arizona?

I live in Arizona, and I unfortunately totaled my car in an accident last month. I’m still working out the claim with my insurance company, but I’m not sure what my car’s value is now. How can I find out the diminished value of my car?

I’m so sorry to hear about your accident! You can usually refer to your
car insurance
policy to find your car’s diminished value, since it should contain policy provisions or exclusions about the diminished value of your vehicle.
By law, Arizona unfortunately does not require insurance companies to provide any form of compensation for a reduction to a car’s value before an accident. However, it is generally required that Arizona insurance companies restore a vehicle to the condition it was in right before the claimed accident, meaning that you would be able to restore its value.
It is also good to keep in mind that even if you weren’t at fault, a car accident can still increase your insurance premium. If you want to make sure you’re still getting the best deal on the coverage you need, check out the
