How do I delete phones off a Honda Civic?

I purchased a certified pre-owned Honda Civic from a dealer. When I tried to pair my phone, I noticed that the system had three other phones paired to it. How can I delete phones off a Honda Civic?

The
Honda Civic
is a top-rated and reliable car, so congrats on that! If you want to delete phones off a Honda Civic, follow these simple instructions:
  1. Turn the radio on by turning the key to the accessories position or starting the engine.
  2. Press the phone icon located to the right of the radio screen.
  3. Choose Phone Setup.
  4. Use the right-side dial to scroll until you find System Clear.
  5. Choose Bluetooth Setup.
  6. Use the same dial to scroll until you find Delete Device.
  7. Choose the device you want to delete.
  8. Select Yes at the confirmation prompt to successfully delete the phone.
  9. Repeat the same process until you delete all unwanted phones.
By removing these phones, you can set up your own phone without any issues. Use the phone setup to pair your phone and you’ll have instant access to speech-to-text and hands-free calling.
After buying a new-to-you car, make sure you also take some time to review your car insurance options.
