I just bought a new phone, but the old one is still paired to my Honda Civic’s Bluetooth. How can I delete a device on the Honda Civic?

To delete a device on a
Honda Civic
, turn on the radio and use the menu to select and delete the device. Follow these steps:
  • Step 1: Turn your radio on.
  • Step 2: Press the phone button icon located to the right of the radio screen.
  • Step 3: Select ‘Phone Setup’.
  • Step 4: Scroll down using the radio dial until you see ‘System Clear’.
  • Step 5: Select ‘Bluetooth Setup’.
  • Step 6: Use the dial to scroll down until you see ‘Delete Device’.
  • Step 7: Select yes on the confirmation prompt to delete the old phone or Bluetooth pairing.
This should effectively remove the old phone.
Once you’ve deleted the old phone: You can use the phone setup screen to pair a new device. After the pairing process is complete, the Honda Civic allows you to use the Bluetooth system for speech-to-text and hands-free calling.
