How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a 2016 Honda Civic?

I recently bought a used 2016 Honda Civic. I could figure out how to connect my phone via Bluetooth, but while doing so I noticed that the previous owner didn’t delete their paired devices—how do you delete a Bluetooth device from a 2016 Honda Civic?

Fortunately, deleting a Bluetooth device from your 2016
Honda Civic’s
system is an easy process—all you have to do is follow the steps listed below:
  1. Press the “🕻” button.
  2. Rotate the dial underneath the screen to select “Phone Setup” on the multimedia display, then press the dial’s middle button.
  3. Rotate the dial to “Bluetooth Setup” and then press the dial’s middle button.
  4. Rotate the dial to select “Delete Device” and then press the dial’s middle button. The system will then display a list of all paired devices.
  5. Rotate the dial to select the device you want to delete from your 2016 Honda Civic and then press the dial’s middle button.
  6. A message will pop up asking you to confirm the deletion. Rotate the dial to select “Yes” and then press the dial’s middle button.
As long as you follow these instructions, you should have no problem deleting a paired device from your 2016 Honda Civic’s Bluetooth system.
When using your Honda’s Bluetooth HandsFreeLink (HFL) system, remember that some of your device’s regular features may not be available. It’s also worth noting that, even though using a Bluetooth connection helps keep your eyes on the road, you still need to exercise caution when using a phone or other mobile device while driving.
