I just bought a new car, and my insurance is way more expensive than I thought it would be. What are some good ways for me to cut back on car insurance costs?

Car insurance is a tricky world to navigate. Luckily, there are many ways that you can cut insurance costs, like asking about discounts or shopping around for new providers. Here are some of the easiest ways to cut car insurance costs:
- Ask your provider about which discounts you qualify for.
- Shop around for a new provider with a better rate.
- Raise your deductibleso your provider will lower your premium.
Remember, you’re only required to carry the [minimum state required] amount of insurance. While it’s low, cutting back to the minimum required amount could help you save hundreds over the year. But before you drop any coverage, look around for better offers from different providers.
