Very prudent! Skidding and slipping is very common in the winter. Remaining calm and knowing what to do can help avoid accidents. If you lose control of your vehicle and begin to skid, take your feet off the pedals. Do not try to accelerate or brake, as this will worsen your skid.
After this, turn the steering wheel quickly in the direction you intend to go. You may need to alternate steering positions to aim your vehicle back towards the direction you want to go. Your car should naturally stop as you aren’t applying any force with the gas or brake pedals.
Remember to stay calm! With quick thinking and some luck, you can easily control your car in a skid. Winter driving season won’t last forever, but for some extra protection at a try
