How do I contact someone else's insurance company?

Should I call another driver's insurance company directly? I got in an accident, but I only have the name of the other driver and the name of the insurance company.

“One option is to contact the other
car insurance company
directly with the information you have and tell them you need to file a claim with one of their insured drivers.
Another option–and the better option–is to contact your own insurance company. You will need to notify them of the
claim
anyway and provide them with details of the accident.
The insurance companies will work directly with each other to determine fault.”
