How do I connect the Bluetooth in a 2017 Chevy Traverse?
I’m borrowing my Dad’s Chevy Traverse while my parents are on vacation, but I can’t figure out how to connect the Bluetooth. Could you tell me how to connect the Bluetooth in a 2017 Chevy Traverse?

We’re always happy to help! Let’s get you set up with Bluetooth in their 2017 Chevy Traverse.
First, make sure the phone’s Bluetooth is enabled. Then, with the Traverse on and in park, tap the phone icon on the touchscreen, then find the option to add a new phone or device. Find your phone in the list of Bluetooth devices nearby, then confirm the codes between the car and the phone.
You’ll usually need to confirm the connection on your phone in order for the connection to go through. Be sure to check that the phone and car are both linked and recognize each other, too—you don’t want to confirm on one only to find out later they didn’t connect properly!
Some models have a push-to-talk feature, too. It has an icon that looks like a person with sound waves exiting their mouth. You can click this and simply say “pair phone,” then follow the instructions the car asks you to follow. That might be even easier than going through the car’s infotainment screen.
We hope your parents have a great trip, and we’re sure you’ll take good care of their vehicle while they’re out of town too.
