How do I connect my phone to my Honda CR-V?

Is there a way for me to connect my phone to my new Honda CR-V? I have an Android and I can’t figure out how to connect my phone since it doesn’t have Apple CarPlay.

Yes, you can still connect your phone to your Honda CR-V—even if you have an Android! Here’s how to do it:
  • Download the Android Auto app on your phone.
  • Turn on your car, but leave it in park. This is important, as you won’t be able to connect your phone once you start driving.
  • Use the USB connector to connect your phone to your CR-V. Be sure that the USB is plugged into the port labeled with the phone symbol.
  • Go to your home screen and find the Android Auto app. Open the app and follow the prompts on the screen to complete the setup.
Once you do this, your phone should be connected to your car! If you have any further connectivity problems, you might have to contact the dealership for help. In the meantime, you can
use Bluetooth
to connect your phone by pairing it with your car in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
