How do I connect my phone to my 2012 Honda CR-V?
Is there a way for me to connect my iPhone to my 2012 Honda CR-V? I know some cars have Apple CarPlay, but my Honda is probably too old for that. How else can I play my music, GPS, etc. over my car speakers?

You’re right—your car doesn’t have Apple CarPlay. But no worries! You can still connect your phone to a 2012 Honda CR-V using
Bluetooth
.Here’s how:
- First, turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Press the HandsFreeLink (HFL) Talk button and say phone setup.
- When prompted, say pair.
- Follow the prompts given by your HFL system as it searches for your phone.
- Once your car finds your phone, you should get a four-digit code that you’ll input on your iPhone.
- Once you do, your phone will pair with your car and you can play music, take calls, and receive GPS directions via your car speakers.
