How do I connect my phone to a 2012 Honda CR-V?

My brother sold me his CR-V EX for cheap. I love it so far! The only problem I have is I can’t figure out how to connect my phone. How can I connect a phone to the 2012 Honda CR-V?

The 2012
Honda CR-V EX
is one of the top-rated crossovers on the market! And luckily, pairing your phone with it is simple once you know how.
To connect your phone to a 2012 Honda CR-V:
  1. Turn your key in the ignition to accessories mode. Essentially, turn your car on without starting the engine.
  2. Press the phone button on the stereo.
  3. Use the dial in the middle of the stereo to select Yes when the screen asks if you would like to add a new phone.
  4. Press the select button in the middle of the dial.
  5. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth capabilities so it’s discoverable.
  6. The CR-V will start to search for your phone, and you’ll hear a voice telling you about Bluetooth.
  7. Select your phone on the screen.
  8. Enter 0000 into your phone when prompted.
  9. You should receive confirmation that your phone has been added.
In a minute or so, your phone should be paired! Did you know that you can save hundreds of dollars on car insurance each year in about the same amount of time?
