Congrats on your new set of wheels! If you picked up a 2017 Lincoln MKZ or newer, you can connect your phone with Android Auto. It’s simple. Just follow these steps:
- Download the Android Auto app from Google Play.
- Go into “Settings” on your Lincoln’s infotainment screen and select “Android Auto Preferences.” Press “Enable Android Auto.”
- Use a USB cable to connect your phone to the Lincoln’s USB port.
- Accept the terms and conditions that pop up on the infotainment screen. You might also get a prompt on your Android device. Now, your phone is connected!
If you prefer to connect via Bluetooth, turn your phone’s Bluetooth on and click “Connect a phone” on the infotainment screen. Pick your phone, and that’s it!
