How do I connect Bluetooth to my 2014 Honda CR-V?

I found a used Honda CR-V for a song at a used car sale, so I bought it for my daughter who’s off to college in the fall. She’s currently studying for her midterm trigonometry exam, so I told her I’d set her phone up for her. How do I connect Bluetooth to my 2014 Honda CR-V?

Your daughter is probably thrilled to have a car to take to college! Setting up Bluetooth connectivity on a 2014
Honda CR-V
is easy—you’ll just have to pair your daughter’s smartphone with the CR-V’s infotainment system. To do this, just follow these steps:
  • Make sure the phone is on and Bluetooth is turned on ON
  • On the CR-V’s steering wheel, press and hold the TALK button
  • When you hear the system beep, say Phone Setup
  • You’ll hear another beep—say PAIR
  • The system will display the following pairing code: 0000
  • In your phone’s Bluetooth settings, find the CR-V
  • Select the vehicle and enter the pairing code 0000 when prompted
  • Your daughter’s phone will now be paired with her 2014 Honda CR-V!
