How do I connect Bluetooth to a Honda Odyssey from 2012?
I recently inherited a 2012 Honda Odyssey and am going to start driving it this week. However, I want to get everything set up before I hit the road. What are the steps to connect my phone to Bluetooth?

We got you! Connecting your phone via Bluetooth to a Honda Odyssey from 2012 is fairly straightforward, even though it’s going to require a few more knobs and buttons than a more modern Honda.
Here are the steps to pair your phone with a 2012 Honda Odyssey:
- Park your Honda somewhere safe and turn off the engine. Make sure your infotainment screen has power.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone or other device.
- Press the Phone button on the center dash under the screen.
- The screen will ask if you want to pair a phone. Use the knob to scroll to Yes and press the Enter button in the center of the knob.
- Press Enter again to select OK on the confirmation screen.
- Once the screen displays the name of your phone or device, select it with the Enter button.
- Type in 0000 on your phone or device.
- Your Honda screen will show a confirmation message that your phone has been paired. Press Enter.
- Your phone options menu will be listed!
There you have it! Pairing your phone will not only let you make hands-free calls, but it will also help reduce distracted driving if you use it right, keeping you safe on the road and your car insurance rates steady!
