I’ve driven a Kia Forte for years, but I’m getting a Honda Accord over the weekend. I’ve always used Bluetooth in my car, and I’m wondering if the setup process is the same. How do I connect Bluetooth to a Honda?

If you could set up Bluetooth on your Kia, you should have no problem connecting it to your
Honda
. Although the process might vary a little based on your model’s make and year, this is the basic process:- Turn your Honda on, but don’t run the engine.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Press the Phone Button Icon or Home button on your Honda touchscreen.
- Select Phone and Yes to confirm your choice.
- Choose your phone from the list and press Yes.
- Verify that the pairing codes on the touchscreen and phone match before pressing Confirm.
This pairs your device to Honda’s HandsFreeLink using the touchscreen.
If you’re driving an older Honda that doesn’t have a multimedia touchscreen, use the Color Audio System selector knob to connect your Bluetooth. You’ll need to press the Phone or Pick-up button and select Yes when prompted. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, so your Honda can find it. Select your phone from the list and verify that the pairing codes match. Finish setting up Bluetooth by following the HandsFreeLink prompts on your device.
