I want to encourage my daughter to learn how to take phone calls hands-free when she’s driving the family car. My solution is to set up Bluetooth with her phone so it’s automatic. How do I connect Bluetooth to a Chevy Spark?

To connect Bluetooth to a
Chevy Spark
, use the touchscreen menu in your car to pair the devices.
Newer Sparks offer Bluetooth for both hands-free phone calls and audio streaming.
If your Spark is equipped with Bluetooth capacity, here are the steps for connecting a phone or tablet to your car via Bluetooth:
  • Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth
  • Turn on your car and access the MyLink menu
  • Go to ‘Phone’ > ‘Connect phone’ > ‘Add phone’
  • On your phone, tap your car’s identifier
  • Confirm via PIN
  • Press the ‘Pair’ button
Note that interference from phone cases, other devices in the car, or other paired Bluetooth devices (like headphones) can cause problems with Bluetooth pairing in a Chevy Spark.
Try turning the phone on and off again if you can’t connect.
Hands-free driving is the only safe way to take phone calls while driving. In fact, it’s illegal for young drivers in almost every state to handle a mobile device while behind the wheel. Make sure your daughter knows the consequences of
