I’ve finally figured out how to use hands-free features using my smartphone. Now, I want to pair it to my Honda, but I’m not sure how to do it. How do I connect to Bluetooth on the 2012 Honda Civic?
Pull up Settings on your smartphone and select Enable Bluetooth.
Turn on the Civic, but keep it in Park.
Push the Phone button on the dashboard’s multimedia display and press Yes when the screen asks if you’d like to add a new phone.
Press Okay to confirm your choice and give the Civic a moment to search for Bluetooth devices.
Push the Select button when you see the phone you want to pair.
Enter the pairing PIN from the touchscreen into your phone and press Pair.
Give your Honda a few seconds to connect to your phone’s Bluetooth. Then, follow the prompts if you want to sync your phone’s contacts. You’ll also get the chance to set your phone as the primary device for the Civic. All of these options take just a few seconds!
Now, enjoy the hands-free capabilities you have with your Honda. You can stream personalized playlists, make hands-free phone calls, or send texts—all without using your phone’s keypad or driving distracted. Before you head out, ask your
