How do I connect Bluetooth to a 2012 Dodge Charger?

I’m borrowing my mom’s car while mine’s in the shop, but I’m having trouble connecting my phone. I asked my mom, but she doesn’t use that feature. How do I use Bluetooth in a 2012 Dodge Charger?

That’s nice of your mom to let you use her car! Unless your mom had the feature added, you won’t be able to connect your phone through Bluetooth in a 2012 Dodge Charger. The 2012 Chargers did not come standard with Bluetooth capability.
If your mom did have the
Dodge
Uconnect service installed, you should be able to stream audio, use hands-free calling, and more! It can be a useful feature to have if you’re prone to
distracted driving
since it allows you to navigate without having to look at a screen.
Here’s how to connect to a 2012 Charger via Bluetooth:
  • Make sure the vehicle is parked safely.
  • Activate Bluetooth on your phone.
  • On the Uconnect touchscreen, select Phone > Add Device > Settings.
  • Select the Dodge on your phone’s Bluetooth menu and enter the PIN if necessary.
  • The phone and Uconnect system should now be paired via Bluetooth!
