How do I connect Bluetooth to a 2008 Infiniti FX35?

I recently purchased a 2008 Infiniti FX35. While I’m 100% certain that it has Bluetooth, I don’t have the manual—and as a result—I have no idea how to connect my phone. What do I need to do?

Connecting Bluetooth to your
Infiniti FX35
is super easy. Just follow these steps and you should be connected in about a minute:
  1. Push the voice button on the steering wheel.
  2. Next, say setup, then pair phone, then new phone.
  3. If prompted to enter a PIN, type in or say 1234.
  4. Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
  5. Look for Infiniti, FX35, or InTouch in your list of devices.
  6. Select it and your phone should pair automatically.
Keep in mind that the FX35 Bluetooth system only works for hands-free calling and voice recognition—it won’t work for streaming audio. If you want to play music from your phone through your car’s speakers, you can either use an ⅛-inch auxiliary cord or
add a Bluetooth adapter
.
Using your XF35’s Bluetooth system is a great way to reduce
distracted driving
. While getting connected may seem like a low priority in the grand scheme of operating your new car, using this feature could help you avoid future violations and keep your
car insurance
rates low!
