To connect Bluetooth in a BMW 5 Series, use the Communication tab in the iDrive menu and pair your smartphone.
Start by making sure that your smartphone has Bluetooth enabled.
Now, use the iDrive menu and choose:
- Communication
- Manage mobile devices
- Connect new device.
Now that pairing mode is activated, you should be able to see the BMW Bluetooth name on your phone. Tap to begin pairing.
