I have trouble concentrating when I’m behind the wheel, but I’m dedicated to becoming a better driver. What are some tips to help me concentrate while driving?

! To best concentrate while driving, follow these tips:- Go through your driving ritual before you leave (i.e., check your mirrors, put your seat belt on, etc.).
- Don’t use your phone. If you’re tempted, lock it in the glove box or the center console.
- Keep music at an appropriate volume.
- Don’t wear headphones.
- Get your music or podcast going before you leave your home.
- Use hands-free calling or voice-to-text technology to send messages.
- Avoid multitasking.
- Use a rideshare service if you’re going to drink.
- Limit the number of passengers in your car, if possible.
- Don’t stream videos on your car’s head unit.
- Don’t tailgate.
- Obey the rules of the road and posted speed limits.
- Avoid the temptation to look at the scenery.
- Limit any other distractions not listed above.
