How do I complain about car insurance?

I filed a claim with my provider over a year ago, and they still haven't responded. What should I do to complain about my car insurance?

I’m sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with your provider. To make a complaint about your insurance company, you’ll need to contact your state’s insurance commissioner.
Every state has its own insurance commissioner that investigates issues with local insurance providers and holds insurance companies accountable to state laws. While that may seem outside the scope of your complaints, most states require insurance providers to respond within a given time after customers
file a claim
.
If you feel the commissioner isn’t helpful, you can always escalate your complaint to your state’s Department of Insurance. Be careful though, the complaints process could be just as time-consuming as filing a new claim!
Since your insurance provider isn’t meeting your needs, it may be time to explore your other options with
