How do I clean Ford Focus seats?
How can I clean Ford Focus seats? A friend paid me to clean their car seats, but I’m not sure how to do that on a Ford Focus.

You’re a great friend for cleaning someone’s seats! How you clean them depends on if the sears are leather or fabric.
To clean the seats, do the following:
- For both leather and fabric seats, start by vacuuming them. A vacuum attachment with a brush helps dislodge dust particles and stubborn dirt. A narrow crevice attachment may also help you with those hard-to-reach spots.
- If they are cloth seats, spread cloth cleaner with a sponge and let it sit until it dries out. Afterward, use a wet vacuum to clean the seats from any leftover product.
- If they are leather seats, removestains and grimewith a leather cleaner, a clean towel, and light pressure.
Here are some general tips to keep in mind when cleaning your car:
- It’s best to wear gloves so you don’t irritate your skin.
- Using household products is a safe method to clean your car seats, but always read the labels beforehand.
- Avoid using stiff bristle brushes on both fabric or leather seats so you don’t damage the interior.
- Do not scrub vigorously. It’s best to repeat the cleaning process rather than harm the seats.
- Avoid using wipes and sprays that contain a citrus fragrance or chlorine bleach. If you’re not sure, look out for terpene hydrocarbon/d-limonene or sodium hypochlorite.
- Avoid using disinfectant products dispersed by a pressurized aerosol container as well.
