How do I clean car oil off my skin?

I attempted a DIY oil change today, and I made a bit of a mess. I now have car oil all over my hands. How can I clean car oil off my skin?

Getting car oil off isn’t easy, but it can be done. Don’t just use soap and force, however. There are special ways to remove oil, pain-free.
First, you’re going to want to wash your hands immediately—oil will be easier to remove when it is fresh. Applying a gentle cleansing oil along with water—like a baby oil or petroleum jelly will actually—bond with the motor oil. This will cause the water and oil to link together, and the motor oil should come off easily.
Another choice is to try and buff it out. Mix sugar and dish soap, and rub the mixture over your hands then use a pumice stone to buff your palms. A toothbrush can then be used to scrub out any oil still hiding under your fingernails.
In the future, consider wearing gloves whenever doing car work. This will stop you from getting oily.
If you’re doing maintenance after an accident, you may want to have a professional look at it, which means you’ll want
