How do I check my car insurance company’s name?

I can’t remember who I’m insured with. Where can I find the name? I got a new car recently and I need to contact my car insurance company about adding the vehicle to my policy.

“Luckily, insurance companies want to be found, so you can look for your car insurance company’s name in a number of places.
First, check the glove compartment of your old car—that is, if you still have it. You may find a printed copy of your proof of insurance, which will have the insurer’s name on it.
Next, check your email. Search for the term insurance. It’s likely you gave the company your email address at some point and they have sent you a message in the recent past.
If that doesn’t work, try looking at your credit card or bank statements. When you pay your bills, the payment will generally show up under your provider’s name.
If all else fails but you have a hunch that you’re insured through Geico, Progressive, etc., you can call the company directly and ask. They will provide you with any other information you need and can help you add your new car to the policy then and there.
If you’re not sure that you have coverage at all, don’t drive your new car. It is
illegal
to drive without insurance, and you could face serious legal trouble or a big bill in the event of an accident.
If you don’t have coverage or are unhappy with your current provider, the
