Good question! There are a couple of different ways that you can check on the mileage of your car.
Usually, there will be a sticker inside the car somewhere from your last oil change. That sticker will tell you what the mileage was at the time of the oil change. Compare that number to your odometer to see if the difference seems reasonable.
