As the weather has gotten colder and wetter, I’ve noticed my wipers making streaks across my windshield. I’m guessing that means it’s time to change them. How do you put new wiper blades on a Toyota Yaris?

If your wipers are making streaks on your windshield, you’re absolutely right—it is time to change your blades. Streaks on your window can significantly decrease visibility, which poses a real danger on the road.
- Purchase the proper-size wiper blades for your Yaris.
- Turn your wipers on, then off when they are positioned midway across your windshield.
- Lift your wipers away from the windshield for easier access.
- Remove the driver-side blade first by undoing the small hook attachment at the base.
- Attach the new wiper blade in its place.
- Repeat these steps in the same order on the passenger-side wiper.
