How do I change the clock on a Honda Civic from 2012?
What’s the easiest way to set the clock on a Civic? I recently bought a used Honda, and I’m a little stumped on how to manage certain settings.

Getting adjusted to a new vehicle can be a little challenging, but it gets easier! Fortunately, changing the clock on a 2012 Honda Civic is pretty simple if you know how.
Here’s what to do:
- Insert your car key into the ignition, and give it a half-turn. Essentially, you’re turning the car on without starting the engine.
- Locate the small clock stem button behind the steering wheel on the instrument panel.
- Press the clock stem and turn it to change the hours. Then, press it again to access the minutes and turn the stem to change the minutes.
- Press the stem when you’re done to exit the clock settings.
