How do I change my Kia's flat tire?

I got a flat tire after hitting a curb. I don't want to spend a bunch of money to call roadside assistance or a towing company. How do I change my Kia's flat tire?

Changing your tire at home is definitely a great way to save some money! To change your
Kia’s
flat tire, just follow these steps:
  • Step 1: Deploy the emergency brake and park your car on a level area, out of traffic
  • Step 2: Remove the Kia’s hubcap
  • Step 3: Loosen the tire nuts
  • Step 4: Place the jack on the ground and crank the hand to lift the car to the appropriate level
  • Step 5: Remove the nuts entirely and roll the tire away from you, setting it aside
  • Step 6: Install the spare tire and tighten the nuts
  • Step 7: Remove the jack and inspect the nuts to make sure they’re tight
  • Step 8: Place the hubcap back on
  • Step 9: Have your tires inspected and filled with air at the nearby gas station
