How do I change an Infiniti key battery?

My Infinit’s fob is dead. Won’t work at all. How do I change an Infiniti key battery?

To change your
Infiniti
 key battery you’ll need to purchase a replacement battery if you don’t have it already. Infiniti key fobs usually take a CR2025 type battery or a CR2032 battery. Check your owner’s manual to confirm which you’ll need.
Once you’ve got the battery, follow these simple steps to replace your Infiniti key battery:
  • Press the release tab on the back of the fob and remove the physical key.
  • Open the panel beneath the key. You can do this with a flat edge, like a flathead screwdriver.
  • Take out the old battery and insert the new one.
  • Reattach the panel and reinsert your key.
