Extended warranties are a great way to protect your
Mercedes-Benz
longer than the original term length—but if you want to cancel a Mercedes extended warranty, you can do so any time before your New Vehicle Warranty expires. You’ll need to submit a written cancellation request using an official cancellation form, which you can get from your dealer.
If you want to cancel your extended warranty while it’s in effect, you’ll receive a pro-rata refund depending on how many months are left in your warranty term. If you’re selling the car, you have to request a refund within 90 days of your ownership—but it’s not eligible for a refund if you’ve transferred ownership to a private party.
