How do I apply car stickers on a window?
I just bought a new Ford F-150. To show my Ford pride, I have a few stickers I want to apply to my windows—but I don’t want them to look shoddy. How can I apply car stickers on a window so it looks professional?

Congrats on your new purchase! Stickers are a great way to personalize your car, and they’re easy to place! You can use either the wet or dry process to apply your window stickers.
As the name implies, the wet process involves some extra moisture, but the results are great! Follow these steps for a wet sticker application:
- Clean the area using a window cleaner.
- Wipe off the excess cleaner and let it dry.
- Use a spray bottle full of water to wet the area again.
- Peel off the back of the sticker and press it in place.
- Since the window is wet, you can slide the sticker into its ideal position.
- Let it dry!
The dry method is also effective, although you need to be a bit more precise. To successfully complete a dry sticker application:
- Clean the window.
- Wipe away excess cleaner and let it dry.
- Once the area is dry, put the sticker where you want it—without removing the liner.
- Use a piece of painter’s tape on top of the sticker to hold it in place.
- While it’s still taped to the window, remove the bottom of the liner.
- Push down on the sticker from top to bottom, taking care not to leave bubbles.
- Remove the tape and repeat the process with the top half.
- This time, push down the sticker from bottom to top.
