How do I adjust the steering wheel on a 2016 Honda Civic?

I just bought a 2016 Honda Civic because I got a great deal on it. I only test drove it briefly. Unfortunately, my long legs don’t fit so well when I’m behind the wheel. Is there a way to adjust the steering wheel on a 2016 Honda Civic?

When you can’t get your legs comfortably under the steering wheel, it’s not just a nuisance, it’s a safety hazard! Thankfully, you can easily adjust the steering wheel on a 2016
Honda Civic
by following a few steps:
  • Locate the steering wheel adjustment lever below the steering wheel.
  • Pull the lever toward you.
  • Once you pull the lever, you can adjust the steering wheel up, down, in, or out to suit your needs.
  • After you’ve found the proper height and level, push the lever back in to lock the steering wheel in place.
As a general rule, always adjust the steering wheel after you let someone borrow the car or you have maintenance done on your vehicle. By doing so, you can ensure you’re safe when you’re behind the wheel.
