How do I add another car to Root insurance?

I'm currently with Root and just got another car. How can I add it to my policy?

Congrats on the new car! Luckily, adding another car to your Root insurance policy is easy.
Root car insurance is app-based, meaning you can make all of your policy changes through their mobile app. While they have agents available, it isn’t necessary to speak to them by phone to make changes.
To add another car, you’ll simply open the app and go to Auto Policy. From there, you’ll select Profile Information, which will allow you to add your new car. Root will also give you an updated rate before officially adding your vehicle. As adding additional cars will impact your car insurance rate, now may be a good time to shop around.
Depending on your driving record and the type of car you have, you may find a separate policy for your new car or another company may offer a lower rate.
You can request multicar insurance quotes online or use Jerry. Jerry is an app that makes it easy to see quotes from top insurance companies for multiple vehicles. With Jerry, you save time and money.
Even if Root is currently offering you the best rate, consider shopping around every six months to avoid overpaying for insurance!
