How do I add a car to Mercury insurance?
I am getting a second car for my son as a birthday gift. I want to add this used car to my Mercury policy. How can I do this?

add a car
and new driver to your Mercury car insurance online or over the phone.Whether you add the new-to-you car online or over the phone, you will need:
- Year, make, and model of the car
- License plate number
- State where you both live
- Vehicle identification number (VIN)
Keep in mind: If your son isn’t already listed as a driver on your Mercury policy, you’ll need to add him by giving them his date of birth, confirming he lives with you (or re-enter your address), and providing his driver’s license number.
