“Unfortunately, home break-ins are extremely common and electronics are usually taken during these burglaries. Your home insurance company will want to see a copy of the police report, so be sure to call the police and file a report right away.
Hopefully you have pictures, receipts, or serial numbers for some of the items because it makes it easier for the insurance company to get your items replaced.
If the thieves broke your door or window to enter the home, you can also get those repairs covered by the insurance company, so be sure to save those receipts as well.
