I’m a little worried about my washing machine, it’s been making some weird noises recently. Can you tell me how to tell if washer springs are bad?

You can tell if washer springs are bad if your machine is off-balance and shakes a lot when you’re using it. Your washer springs are designed to stabilize your machine and keep it from rocking around too much. If you turn on your machine and your washer is moving around and looks off-balance, it’s probably time to get your springs replaced.
When doing this, we’d advise you to replace all of the springs at the same time, as they usually wear out at the same rate. That way, you won’t be stuck doing the whole process again in a couple of weeks. We’d also advise you to check in to see if your washing machine is under a warranty—that way, part of the repair cost may be covered already.
