What are the signs a car battery is dying? My car is acting a little wonky and I'm wondering if it could be the battery.

To identify if your car battery is dying, keep an eye out for these telltale signs:
- The engine feels slower
- Your lights are dimmer
- Something smells rotten
- The battery wires are corroded
- The battery case is misshapen
Your car battery is what allows all your electrical components to run. So if you feel like some of your car’s electric functions are starting to fail, you may have a battery problem. To be sure, you should get it checked out by a mechanic.
A car battery’s typical lifespan is three to five years, so you shouldn’t be too surprised if you need to get it changed periodically.
