How can you open a car with a dead battery?

My car battery died. How can I get into it? I left my laptop in there which I need for school. I can wait to fix the battery, but I need my computer for classes.

“I’m sorry to hear that you’re locked out. Luckily, you should be able to open the driver’s side door with a regular key.
If you don’t have an old-school hard key, you can either
jump-start your car
or call a locksmith.
Either of these is an easy option if you have roadside assistance. If you don’t currently have roadside assistance through your
car insurance
, you can get a roadside assistance membership with the
Jerry
app.
Finally, you could also visit a dealership. They usually can make you a replacement key or order you one.
Good luck! I hope you’re able to retrieve your laptop for your classes.”
