How can you fix a squeaky car window?
My kid incessantly plays with the window in my car. I usually let them, to avoid any tantrums and keep the ride going smoothly. However, the window closest to their car seat has begun to squeak, driving me crazy. Is there a way to fix a squeaky car window at home?

Generally, car windows squeak because the lubricant on the window track has started wearing away. Fortunately, it’s easy to fix a squeaky car window and you’ll just need to apply new lubricant.
To fix a squeaky car window, you should:
- Roll down the window and spray lubricant all around the seal of the window. Don’t worry too much about excess lubricant at the moment because it will further work its way into the track and seal.
- Let the lubricant work its way into the seal and track for a few minutes, and then wipe away the excess lubricant using a clean rag.
- Roll the window up and down a few times until the squeaking stops.
- Repeat as necessary and then clean the window using a glass cleaner and microfiber cloth.
