“Finding out someone pays less than you for insurance is shocking! Luckily, you can easily change your
car insurance company
by shopping around.
While shopping around, be mindful that your siblings may be paying less than you for insurance, but it doesn’t always mean you will find the same rate. Insurance rates are dependent on several factors, including your:
  • Age
  • Driving record
  • Credit history
  • Prior insurance history
  • Claims history
  • Address
  • Type of vehicle you drive
  • Type of coverage you require
Because of these factors, two people who drive the same car, have the same insurance, and live in the same area may be paying two completely different rates.
The best way to determine if you’re overpaying for insurance is to compare rates. Request quotes from a few companies, including your siblings’ insurance companies. If you do find a lower rate, all you’ll need to do is purchase the new policy and then cancel your old one.
If you’re shopping for a new car insurance policy, go to
Jerry
. Jerry will generate competitive quotes from top providers in less than a minute. Jerry gathers your information from your past insurer, so you’re not responsible for any long forms or phone calls. Basically, you get all of the savings and coverage, with none of the hassle.”
