In your daughter’s Honda Accord you will see a whole host of settings below the radio controls. On the left side and right side, you will see a set of red and blue arrows. These arrows alter the temperature on the passenger and driver sides of the car.
By pressing the red, upward-facing arrow you will turn on the heat to your desired temperature as shown on the display to the right. If you press the downward-facing blue arrow, you will lower the temperature in the car and turn on the air conditioner.
On the left side, you will see a fan icon and the ON/OFF button. If there are no numbers on your display, or your arrows are not eliciting any change in the car, press this button to ensure that the air conditioner and heater systems are on.
By pressing the SYNC button, you can make the set temperatures on the passenger and driver’s sides the same.
