“Man’s best friend can undoubtedly put some wear and tear on man’s best car! Of course, how to protect your car depends on the type of damage Snookums is doing, but the odds are with a dog that large and furry, you will need a multiple-step approach.
One of the most significant issues with a sheepdog is all that glorious fur! Try to keep as much fur off your car seats as possible by using a dog hammock. If Snookums is a scratcher as well, you may need a
car seat cover
as well. This to, will help with the fur.
Ideally, dogs should be on a regular grooming regimen to cut down on shedding and odor and keep their nails trim. However, even with trimmed nails, scratches can happen, so you may want to add a car door protector.
Dogs can get a little stinky, so have your interior detailed regularly. Also, make sure you use pet-friendly products to keep Snookums as safe as can be.
